At Nutstrum, we’ve now installed all the nesting boxes with reeds so that the osmia bees — solitary, native pollinators — can emerge from their cocoons and begin their work in the fields.

These local bees start waking up in early February and will be active until around mid-April. During this time, they pollinate the almond trees with great efficiency and play a key role in supporting biodiversity.

Once their cycle is over, we’ll collect the boxes and store them in a safe place until next season.

With this action, we continue our commitment to ecological and regenerative farming that cares for ecosystems and values the role of beneficial wildlife.
